How Our Network Works

Prepare for a provider conversation

Establish Who You Are Speaking With

At the start of any conversation, ask whether you are speaking with the referral service or an independent provider. Androiddominant Walk-In Tubs helps connect homeowners with providers in our network. Androiddominant Walk-In Tubs does not perform the work. The provider discusses site visits, product choices, quotes, and installation details. Write down the provider's business name and contact details so you know where to direct project questions. Ask who would manage the work if you accept the estimate.

Request a callback to check provider availability and share what you want to change about your bathroom.

Describe the Room and Your Routine

The provider may ask what feels difficult about your current bath. Explain whether it is the step over the edge, standing to wash, reaching controls, or helping someone bathe. Share rough room measurements and photos if requested. Mention any door that swings into the bathing area.

For a safe bathing conversion, those everyday details matter alongside the room size. Say whether this is your only bathroom. In a condo, mention any approval process or delivery rules you already know about.

Ask How the Design Would Work

Product labels do not explain how a bathroom will fit your needs. If you are exploring accessible showers, describe the space and support you need. Ask the provider to explain the proposed entry, seat, controls, and grab bar positions.

Useful questions include:

  • Can the existing drain position stay?
  • How much clear space would remain at the entry?
  • What supports the proposed grab bars?
  • Which surfaces and fixtures are included?
  • Who handles permits and required inspections?
  • What happens if hidden damage appears?

For a walk-in tub, also discuss door clearance, hot water capacity, and filling and draining while seated.

Plan for Bathroom Downtime

Ask when the bathroom becomes unavailable and what must happen before you can use it again. Discuss whether weather could affect deliveries or access. Ask how the provider would handle ventilation and protect stored materials from moisture.

You can clear a route and move personal items. Let the provider explain any other preparation. Do not remove tile or disconnect fixtures just to get the room ready for an estimate.

Keep the Decision in Your Hands

Review the written quote before accepting work. Check the total, exclusions, payment stages, and process for approving changes. Ask who handles follow-up concerns and which warranty terms apply to the product and labor.

You choose whether the scope and price fit your needs. A referral does not require you to hire the provider. Submit your project details to request an estimate with no obligation and prepare for a more useful conversation.
